Hi, my name is Daan and I'm an Industrial Design Engineering BSc. student at TU Delft University.

In my eyes, I have always been a creator of worlds and solutions. A true combination of tech, art and business remains my key to success; a lens through which I enjoy a broad overview. I'm always highly passionate and focused on anything I choose to pursue, whether in design or my free time.

My approach in design mirrors the way I handle most things in life, my mind wandering off and stitching together many patterns in the subconscious. Then, as what feels like solving a rubrics cube, the many iterations of thought crystallize in sudden bursts. It's only a matter of effective execution from then on.

With a mind eager to learn, I am very comfortable as an autodidact. From many extreme sports to metal vocals and piano, building a PC at 15 and countless university projects requiring new skills, I always seem to find my inner force to propel me forward.

As a designer, I am most interested in XR (Virtual Reality) and Machine Learning under the broad umbrella of software engineering. Since 2014, I have experimented with the XR medium and today I see all the more endless possibilities to use XR so that people may be shown many fresh perspectives on reality.
